The HD Alloy Boom is built for riders who want to sail faster, jump higher, and push their kit harder. Increased tube wall thickness delivers superior stiffness and durability over standard aluminium construction — a real step up when sessions get longer and conditions get serious.
The 140 and 160 sizes feature 27 mm diameter grip sections and standard modern tail widths, suited to higher-level freeride, bump and jump, and wave sailing.
The 180 and 200 sizes use wider tails to accommodate deeper sail profiles, with 29 mm diameter grip sections and extra-oversized tails for maximum stiffness under load.
The boom arm curves are shaped for maximum deflection resistance, coming close to matching carbon boom performance at an aluminium price point. All HD models feature anodised tails for improved corrosion resistance.
The HD Alloy Boom is available with a choice of two boom heads:
Modular Boom Head — the go-to choice for maximum stiffness and direct mast connection.
Ergo Boom Head — a classic single-hinge lever for fast, familiar rigging.
