The Tendon Joint Raceboard UNI Essentials (U-pin) is designed to be compatible with Exocet RS 380 boards, as well as raceboards from most other brands.
Simple and reliable, the tendon joint sits very low, creating a more direct connection between the rig and the board, making it easier to "close the gap." At its core is a high-quality TPU tendon, secured by two large-diameter custom bolts, ensuring easy tendon replacement without bolt overturning.
The U-Pin section on top is crafted from a single solid piece of stainless steel, ensuring lasting durability. Despite its strength, the Raceboard UNI tendon joint is lightweight, weighing approximately 50g less than competing products.
To ensure smooth movement over the mast track, the tendon joint features a high-grade nylon pad.
For added safety, the top and bottom parts of the tendon joint are connected with a Spectra safety rope, capable of withstanding up to 650 kg of break load.
