XO Sails - Rookie Sail Only

The Rookie sail is designed to help young riders get started with windsurfing easily and build confidence session by session. Lightweight and simple to handle, it gives kids the stability they need to learn the basics without feeling overwhelmed.

Each sail is 3D-shaped with a deep profile in the lower sections, creating a balanced feel that makes steering and trimming straightforward. Even when the wind picks up, the Rookie stays steady and predictable, so beginners can focus on developing their skills.

Bright colours make it easy to spot your child on the water, while clear monofilm windows improve visibility and safety.

Smaller sizes from 1.0 to 2.5 square metres can be equipped with a lightweight aluminium mast or an epoxy mast for extra strength and smoother handling as skills improve.

From the first time standing on the board to learning proper sail control, the Rookie is designed to be a reliable, hassle-free companion that helps young windsurfers enjoy every stage of learning.
