Patrik 5-Wave

The PATRIK 5Wave is our most playful, super-efficient, 5-batten classic wavesail. Developed in Margaret River, Australia, by Patrik Diethelm and 3D mastermind Fabio Canella, this sail is the first choice for crossover freestyle/wave and maximum control in big waves and strong winds. Key to the 5Wave's outstanding control and efficiency is the high aspect ratio design. The refined outline taken from our 4Wave power wave sail allows for maximum control at high speeds and an easier release in top turns and big landings. By giving slightly more luffcurve than other modern wavesails, we managed to increase the tension on the sail body for maximum control and a locked sail pressure point while reducing the swinging of the mast in choppy conditions at the same time.
